The Journal of the Indian Association of Sedimentologists (IAS) is both an international open access online journal and print journal and is leader in its field and publishes ground-breaking research from across the spectrum of sedimentology, sedimentary geology, sedimentary geochemistry, experimental and theoretical sediment transport, mass movement fluxes, modern and ancient sedimentary environments, sequence-, cyclo-, chrono- and chemostratigraphy, sediment-biological interaction, palaeosols, diagenesis, stable isotope geochemistry, environmental sedimentology, neotectonics, geohazards, stratigraphy, palynology, sedimentary mineral resources and hydrocarbons, and allied branches of sedimentary - stratigraphic research. It also publishes review articles, editorials, conference reports, tributes, announcements, advertisements, etc. It is currently distributed to universities and research laboratories in India and abroad.
